Heroin dealer sentenced to life in prison Created by jzimney on 2/7/2012 1:57:54 AM Pin It It appears a Michigan City man convicted on heroin trafficking charges may never get out of prison.
That sentence for 34 year-old Ronald Zitt after the judge considered his history dealing, claims he mixed rat poison into some of the drugs he dealt and his lack of remorse.
Zitt was found guilty two years ago of distributing heroin and paying addicts with drugs in exchange trips to Chicago where they'd purchase even more of the stuff for resale.
Zitt was also accused of providing the heroin that killed a Michigan city man four years ago and leaving the man to die on the bathroom floor while ordering his family not to call 9-1-1 until he had a chance to clean up the scene.
