Police search continues for man believed to have stabbed mother

Police are looking for a 47-year-old man who they think stabbed his mother. 

On Sunday, April 26, police found Monty Ray Menefee’s vehicle, but did not find Menefee, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57

Police say Menefee is now driving a maroon Chevrolet 2500, which was reported stolen near where Menefee’s vehicle was found, ABC 57 reports. 

The truck has a silver diamond-plate toolbox in the bed, and a Michigan plate reading BA 04736.

Menefee is about 6 feet tall and 210 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a Detroit Lions jersey with the number 90 on it. 

Anyone with information about Menefee’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Berrien County Dispatch at 269-983-3060.
