Tornado watch for Elkhart, Kosicusko, LaGrange counties now cancelled

4:00PM UPDATE: The tornado watch for the 95.3 MNC listening area has been cancelled by the National Weather Service.

 

A tornado watch is in effect until 8 p.m. for Elkhart, Kosciusko and LaGrange counties, as well as several other Indiana counties.

The watch was issued at 1:10 p.m. from the National Weather Service. St. Joseph County was not included in the watch.

A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for a tornado to form. A tornado warning means that a tornado is happening or about to happen.
