Lt. Geoff Forizs's life honored by family, friends, South Bend Police at funeral service

Friends, family and police officers honored the life of Lt. Geoff Forizz during a funeral service on Thursday, May 21.

Forisz, who served with the South Bend Police Department for 25 years, died on Friday, May 15, after a battle with cancer.

The funeral service began at Bubb Funeral Chapel in Mishawaka. A funeral processional then went to Sacred Heart Cemetery in South Bend, where Forizs was buried.
