A suspect in a deadly Cass County shooting, made an appearance in court on Wednesday, June 3.
Terry Stinebeck is accused of murdering his wife, Laura Jean, 42, in their home in the 24000 block of Flanders Street in May.
The focus of the hearing was a revealing 911 call played to the court, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC-57 News.
The recording includes Stinebeck saying he shot his wife.

A Michigan State Trooper also took the stand, talking about his conversation with the couple’s 9 year-old child who was in the home at the time of the shooting.
He said she described waking up and hearing the victim scream for help and three loud banging sounds.
Stineback is charged with an open murder charge, assault with attempt to murder and a felony firearm charge.
The child was not injured in the incident.
