Giannetto's voted out of Pizza Wars regionals

Giannetto’s Pizza and Pasta may offer the best pizza in St. Joseph County, but it wasn’t enough to make it past the first round in the regional voting of Northern Indiana Pizza Wars.

The restaurant lost to Albano’s Villa, a pizzeria in Michigan City that was named the LaPorte County champion. Giannetto’s earned 47 percent of the vote.

Rulli’s, Elkhart County’s Pizza Wars winner, earned 39 percent of the vote to lose to Iannarelli’s Italian Restaurant in LaGrange County.
