A civil suit against three Roman Catholic clerics who served in the Fort Wayne-South Bend Diocese in the 50s through 70s was filed Tuesday, July 28, in Minnesota.

The suit was filed by two men who claim they were victims of sexual abuse as minors, according to The Journal Gazette.

The abuse allegedly took place at Crosier Seminary in Onamia, Minn., when the two victims were students there between 1979 and 1981.

The Rev. Gerald Funcheon, one of the accused clerics, was sued in Allen County in 2007 in connection with alleged abuse at a Catholic Youth Organization camp at Lake Wawasee, and has faced lawsuits alleging abuse in other states, from more than 50 victims altogether.

None of the accused clerics who were sued have been criminally charged.
