Donald Trump will take center stage at the first debate for Republican presidential candidates, but each candidate is hoping to make an impact on voters.
Though they are similar, each of the seventeen candidates has their own flavor of conservatism and ideas for the future of the United States.
At stake for the GOP: not only picking the candidate to represent them in the general election, but also selecting the direction the party will take as it tries to regain the White House.
The 10 most popular candidates as determined by recent national polls will meet on stage in Cleveland for the debate beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6. Fox hosts Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace will ask candidates about 50 questions during the two-hour debate.
Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie and John Kasich will be on stage for the 9 p.m. debate.
The debate will be aired live on Fox News and on 95.3 MNC. You can listen live on your radio at 95.3 FM or on your computer, tablet or phone.
The other seven candidates — Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, Carly Fiorina, George Pataki, Lindsey Graham and Jim Gilmore — will meet for a debate at 5 p.m.
That debate will be aired live on Fox News. Tune in to The Casey Hendrickson Show at 95.3 MNC from 5 to 6 p.m. for his take along with the debate.
