Two male suspects were arrested after a home invasion in Cass County, Mich., on Saturday, Aug. 8, but police are still looking for one more suspect.

An off-duty reserve deputy noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in the grass of a home in the 28000 block of Coulter Street at 6:10 p.m., according to a news release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The deputy knew that the homeowners were out of town and the vehicle did not belong there, according to the news release.

The officer confronted the three suspects, but they took off in the vehicle. The officer chased the suspects and the vehicle crashed on M-60 near Oak Grove in Jefferson Township.

The suspects then took off into the woods, but officers located and arrested two suspects — a 17-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man.

Police are still looking for the third suspect. The names of those arrested will be released once the suspects are arraigned.
