Foul play is not suspected in the death of a man whose body was found in the parking lot of the Food Bank of Northern Indiana in South Bend on Thursday morning, Aug. 13.

A Food Bank manager found the body in the parking lot near a bed of mulch between 6:30 and 7 a.m., WSBT reported.

The man was in his 40s and had a bicycle and backpack with him nearby, FOX 28 reported. An ID card was found on the man, but police are waiting to notify his family before releasing his name to media.

The body was found in the 700 block of Chapin Street, according to a tweet from the South Bend Police Department.
