The National Weather Service has issues a Dense Fog Advisory in effect for the entire 95.3 MNC listening area until 9 a.m. EDT on Monday, Aug. 31.

The counties in the listening area affected in the advisory are: St. Joseph, Elkhart, LaGrange, LaPorte, Starke, Marshall and Kosicusko counties in Indiana, as well as Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph counties in Michigan, though the advisory encompasses a larger area of northern Indiana and southern Michigan.

Areas of dense fog with visibilities reduced to a 1/4 mile or less will impact travel during the early morning drive hours.

Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapid changes in visibility over a short distance. If driving, the National Weather Service advises to slow down, use regular-beam headlights and leave plenty of distance from other vehicles.
