Authorities: Middlebury farmer gored, trampled by bull

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say a Middlebury farmer was critically injured when he was gored and trampled by a bull.

The Middlebury Fire Department was dispatched to the scene near C.R. 4 and S.R. 13, about 30 miles east of South Bend, around 11:25 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7, WSBT reported.

The farmer was flown by Medflight to a hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.
