CASSOPOLIS, Mich. (AP) — Hunters in southwestern Michigan are being warned to watch for waste related to methamphetamine.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team says it’s unfortunate that meth makers dump their waste in rural areas.
The components typically found in meth lab dump sites are drain cleaner, cut battery casings, Coleman fuel cans, coffee filters, instant cold packs, fertilizer stakes, pop bottles with plastic tubing protruding from the lid, aluminum foil, funnels and pop bottles with an off colored sledge in the bottom.
Anyone who finds a meth lab dumpsite is asked to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s office at 269-445-2481.
Anyone with information on any other criminal activity is asked to call the Cass County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at 1-800-462-9328 or contact the Sheriff’s Office through the Anonymous Tip Line at www.ccso.info
