South Bend Cubs hosting open house at Four Winds Field on Wednesday

Michiana residents can watch the Chicago Cubs take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League wild card game Wednesday, Oct. 7, on the big screen at Four Winds Field.

The game will be played during an open house at Four Winds Field. The first pitch is set to be thrown at 8:08 p.m. EST.

Gates open at 7 p.m. and admission and parking is free.

The South Bend Cubs Performance Center will be open, as well as some concession stands, the Fun Zone and the Cubs Den Team Store.

Jake Arrieta will be the starting pitcher for the Cubs. He has a 3-1 record and 0.75 ERA against the Pirates this season, according to MLB statistics.
