The Gap is closing at University Park Mall in January

The Gap store at the University Park Mall will close in January, as reported by the South Bend Tribune.

Its last day is set for Jan. 26. The store is one of 175 Gap locations closing across North America.

A sign at the store announced the local closure, though the company announced in June that it planned on closing stores.

About 500 regular stores and 300 outlet stores will remain open. Read more in the full story from the South Bend Tribune.
