Pedestrian struck by vehicle at Edison Rd. & SR 23, police searching for driver

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Edison and State Road 23 in South Bend.

The hit-and-run collision happened just before 8 o’clock on Monday, Dec. 28.

When emergency crews arrived, the victim was conscious, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

So far, there is no word whether police have a description of the suspect’s vehicle.
