South Bend Chick-fil-A owner's response to customer complaint goes viral on Facebook

It’s hard to find good customer service these days, but a woman’s recent experience at a Chick-fil-A in South Bend is going viral on social media after the restaurant owner went above and beyond for her.

Shelby Dirrim ordered grilled chicken nuggets from the Michigan Street restaurant on Tuesday night, Jan. 19, but when she got home she realized the restaurant gave her breaded nuggets.

Dirrim wrote that she couldn’t eat the breaded nuggets because her diet and health restrictions require that she avoid gluten.

When she contacted the restaurant to let them know of the mistake, the owner of the restaurant took matters into his own hand. He drove a fresh order of grilled chicken nuggets directly to Dirrim’s apartment.
