Suspect fires gun inside Elkhart 7-Eleven, takes off with cash

The 7-Eleven store on County Road 6 was robbed on Saturday, Feb. 6, and Elkhart County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking for the public’s help finding the suspect.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the store in the 25000 block of County Road 6 in Elkhart just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6,

The masked suspect entered the store, fired his weapon and demanded money from the clerk, according to Elkhart County Sheriff’s detectives.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money from the clerk, the suspect ran off on foot.

Anyone with information about the suspect involved, is asked to contact the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department’s Detective Bureau at 574-533-4151.
