Residents in South Bend and Mishawaka who plan on doing some spring cleaning over the weekend may also want to clean up their yards.
Leaf pickup for the city of Mishawaka will coincide with trash collection day from Monday, April 11, to Friday, April 15.
South Bend residents can call 311 to have their leaves picked up from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, to Friday, April 15.
In both cities, leaves will be picked up if they are raked to the curb in piles and free of debris and yard waste.

South Bend’s leaf pickup program is separate from the city’s new yard waste program, which begins April 4 and lasts through Nov. 30.
