LaGrange County man accused of attempted murder

A LaGrange man was arrested after police say he tried to kill someone.

Brian C. Combs, 33, was arrested on a preliminary charge of attempted murder,according to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department.

At about 6:35 p.m. Sunday, crews were called to South 200 East near East 100 South on reports of a battery complaint. When officers arrived, they found a badly beaten unresponsive man on the property, according to our reporting partners at WOWO.

Police believe Combs beat a 33-year-old Angola man. The victim was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital for multiple severe injuries, according to police.

The incident is under investigation.

He wasn’t initially trying to kill the guy. It was a fight that got out of hand. Sometimes people get emotionally over heated in midst of a fight and things do happen and do get out of hand. He’s not typically the sort of guy to just kill someone.

But he murdered him…who is typically the sort of guy to just kill someone? He should spend the rest of his life behind bars.

He walked into his home and found his woman with another man…in his bedroom no less. Yes he beat that guy 3 different times..and ultimately killed the guy and he will go to prison for it. I had the same thing happen to me 10 years ago. I am not condoning what he did….but i challenge everyone. If you walked into your home to that situation do you know what you would do? No you don’t…pray you never find out
