South Bend is among the hundreds of communities across the U.S. where people gathered in opposition to President Donald Trump’s executive order that bans citizens of some Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.

Hundreds of people opposed to the order gathered outside the Morris Center in downtown South Bend Sunday afternoon. Many carried signs saying “Let Them In” and “No Ban, No Wall,” according to ABC 57.

Notre Dame president The Reverend John Jenkins issued a statement saying President Trump’s order halts the work of valued students and colleagues who have already passed a rigorous, post-9/11 review process, are vouched for by the university and have contributed so much to the campus.

Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie also issued a statement, urging the administration to reverse the executive order.

Purdue University President and former Governor Mitch Daniels called Trump’s order a bad idea.

Protests also took place at some of the nation’s biggest airports, including in Indianapolis.

There are only about a dozen people in this picture. Hundreds? Is this more fake news?

All of these university people not telling the whole truth and not reading the order! Obama created the Top 7 list. Trump went one step further. As long as we are hating….the government declassified records regarding WMDs…guess what? They existed!! Guess all the naysayers will need to complain about something else. The declassified records makes for some really bone chilling reading.

That is true Kate, they were there. I get tired of telling people the truth when they already have their own version that can’t be argued with.
