Police in LaPorte looking for suspect after abduction attempt

LaPorte police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to lure three kids into his vehicle.

It happened at about 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 23, outside a home in the 400 block of Fox Street.

The three children, ages three, four, and twelves, were playing in a neighbor’s yard when an older silver Honda Pilot pulled up.

The driver called the children over to his vehicle and asked them to get in, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The mother yelled at the man, who immediately fled. The person is described as a white man of medium build, possibly in his mid-50s.

He was balding on the top of his head and had gray hair on the sides of his head.

If you have any information on the alleged abductor, contact LaPorte Police.
