GOP frets about prospects for Braun picking up Indiana Senate seat

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Republican Indiana Senate candidate Mike Braun often refers to his rival, Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly, as “Sleepin’ Joe,” but as Donnelly barnstorms the state in a used RV, it’s Braun’s own campaign, that some are now calling “sleepy” that has Republicans worried.

Groups that typically back GOP candidates are sitting on the sidelines. Braun’s recent three-stop “solutions” tour — spread out across three days — was dwarfed by Donnelly’s seven-day, 40-stop trek in August.

Meanwhile, records show Donnelly is outspending Braun by almost double on TV and radio.

The multimillionaire businessman insists he’s winning and says Donnelly is the one who is lackluster.

But Republicans familiar with the race, most of whom spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity to offer candid assessments of the contest, say Braun appears to be coasting.

NY Joe needs to campaign hard. He’s voted against everything Hoosiers believe in since he was elected…with shenanigans supporting the L candidate to draw votes away from the R.

Mexico Joe is son onboard with Pelosdi and Schumer, so insincere about delivering on his campaign promises, it would be so destructive for Hoosiers to give him a another term in office.

Other than political bias, why would you run the article on Mike Braun? There is really no useful information givin in the story and only opinion about Braun’s campaign. This is not news and clearly this is a poor attempt at journalism.
