More details have been released regarding a brutal stabbing that took place outside the Boys and Girls Club in Goshen last week.

Jorge Lopez Chinchilla, 59, is charged with domestic battery with a deadly weapon after prosecutors say he stabbed a woman several times with a tool from a tire repair kit, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

The alleged attack happened as parents were picking their kids up from the club, and at least one child told police he saw the attack, The Elkhart Truth reported.

The victim said she had a restraining order against Chinchilla but it was no longer active.

She told police Chinchilla broke the window of her driver’s side door and began striking her as she tried to get away and climb into the passenger seat, The Elkhart Truth reported.

She said she screamed for help and somebody pulled Chinchilla out of the vehicle by the legs.

Chinchilla ran off, but police were able to follow his footprints in the snow and placed him under arrest.

What a piece of s****. Just another psycho. I wonder what his immigration status is. Not that it matters, just curious really. I hope they max out his sentencing. To do somthing so heinous in front of already at risk children is unfathomable.

This guy needs locked up for the rest of his life. She dropped the restraining order on him, which is why it was not active. I have been trying to get the police to hear me in regards to this guy for over a year now, with no relief from them.
