Kosciusko County woman arrested for trafficking Saturday

A Kosciusko County woman has been arrested for trafficking.

Rita Sellers, 46 of Silver Lake, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 28, after an investigation revealed she had allegedly attempted to traffic drugs into the Westville Correctional Facility.

Police recovered Suboxone during the investigation.

Sellers was booked into the LaPorte County Jail and faces one count of Trafficking a Controlled Substance with an Inmate, a Level 5 Felony.

Formal charges will be determined by the LaPorte County Prosecutor’s Office.

I can’t wait for the follow-up story where her daughter or friend is busted bringing drugs to her in the female correctional facility!
