The new XFL began their inaugural season on Saturday, and the league features a number of faces familiar to Notre Dame fans.

Former Irish Captain Nyles Morgan, who graduated in 2017, played for the Seattle Dragons team that opened the season Saturday afternoon. ABC 57 reports that his Notre Dame teammate Greer Martini plays for the team in Dallas.

In addition, domer Jarron Jones plays for New York, and former Irish running back Tarean Folston will begin the season on the injured reserve for the Tampa Bay Vipers. He rushed for over 1,700 yards and had 11 touchdowns during his career at Notre Dame.

The ten-week regular season ends April 12th and the Championship will be played on April 26th.
