Tri-Way Drive-In Theatre denied in effort to reopen on Friday

Hundreds of people sit in their cars watching a movie trailer at a drive-in cinema, as all other theaters in Germany are closed due to the coronavirus in Essen, Germany, on Monday, March 30, 2020. Only two persons are allowed per car, tickets are available only online and no snacks are sold to limit social contacts. The new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms for most people, but for some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness or death. Plans to open the Tri-Way Drive-In Theatre in Plymouth have been put on the shelf by the pandemic.

Tri-Way had announced their intention to open this weekend with a number of restrictions in place for social distancing.

Thursday the Marshall County Health Department received word from the state’s Excise Police saying the plan to reopen was not approved.

Tri-Way will have to wait until Governor Holcomb lifts the current restrictions.

Over reach of the government. Stop this communist way. One day we will wake up and say what happened?

People…Don’t you know that you are all stupid and incapable of any thought or decision? We all need an elected politician to tell us when we can go to a movie in our car. Everyone knows that elected politicians are experts in all things and we are just total morons with out any type of functioning brain. God only knows what would happen if people applied common sense to a situation like going to a movie in a car. It could restart the entire pandemic! Or worse…show politicians we are fine with out their god complex interfering with the most ridiculous things in our daily lives.

Elected politicians have no more knowledge than anyone else so why are we letting them decide our daily routine? Because that is how stupid we have become in America.

The Excise Police? Does Tri-Way sell alcohol, cigarettes or explosives? Governor Gomer Holcomb needs to read his copy of the Indiana Constitution and the US Constitution and quit following Fetchen Gretchen Whitmer. When did Indiana’s Constitution change to allow Excise Police to enforce attendance at drive-in theaters? This is bogus, I can’t wait to vote by mail or carrier pigeon and toss the losers out of office.
