(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)

Aaron Randall has been given 10 days without pay for a violation of rules of conduct, when he failed to show up for work several hours into a shift. His failure to show put one of the department’s medic units out of service. This isn’t the first time he has had problems staying in line.

According to ABC 57 in 2011 he was suspended after failing a random drug screen, in 2016 he was suspended for several months after please guilty to OWI and possession of marijuana, and last year he was suspended for leaving work without permission.

He does have one commendation on file for helping save a man’s life in a fire back in 2015.

Suspended? Why not fired ?
It’s about protecting the community and coworkers.
It sounds like poor leadership to allow this individual to stay on .Maybe Leadership needs to go too.
