Karen Pence says more people are discussing mental health due to the pandemic

Second Lady Karen Pence says if there’s a silver lining to the pandemic, it’s that people are talking more about mental health.

Pence told Fox News on Thursday that she believes there’s a need to be more open and honest about mental health issues, and that we need to reduce the stigma on suicide.

She says everyone is feeling some type of anxiety and a sense of isolation. Pence said this is the perfect opportunity for people to talk more and bring up the conversation of suicide prevention.

The former Indiana First Lady says simply reaching out to someone in need and letting them you’re willing to help is an excellent way to start the conversation.

Hey Karen Pence, Stop the talk on this subject and start opening back up the “nut houses” we used to have for people who are mentally ill. SIMPLE and Easy fix. Why they were ever shut down is a question we the people would like an answer to and will never get. However we can sure see the results of shutting these places down. Look around you now…. the nut cases are EVERYWHERE. It is long past time for these people to be returned to their rightful homes. GETER DONE!!!!!
