An important worldwide brand name based in Berrien County has been named to a list on Forbes.

For the second year in a row, the Whirlpool Corporation has been named to the Forbes Just 100 list.

The annual list celebrates companies that the publication says are “doing right by America,” ranking the nation’s largest publicly traded companies on how well they perform in the area of issues that matter most to Americans.

Whirlpool appeared at #99 on the list, as one of the 100 top companies who are, according to Forbes, setting the standard in stakeholder treatment and proving that it’s possible for a corporation to do well by doing good.
