(95.3 MNC)

More than 760-thousand pounds of Hot Pockets are being recalled due to the popular lunchtime and snack time treat potentially contained pieces of glass and hard plastic.

The problem was discovered after several consumers reached out to Nestlé to report they’d made the discovery. At least one person reported a “minor oral injury.”

The Hot Pockets in question have a February 2022 expiration date, contain 12 “premium pepperoni, chicken & beef pizza garlic buttery crust” Hot Pockets.

They are sold in 54-oz carton packages containing 12 “Nestlé HOT POCKETS BRAND SANDWICHES: PREMIUM PEPPERONI MADE WITH PORK, CHICKEN & BEEF PIZZA GARLIC BUTTERY CRUST” with a “BEST BEFORE FEB 2022” date and lot codes 0318544624, 0319544614, 0320544614, and 0321544614.

The product was shipped to retail locations nationwide.

The problem was discovered when the firm received four consumer complaints of extraneous material in the pepperoni hot pocket product.

If you have any of the tainted products, you ‘re advised to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
