Ribbon cutting planned for the new Bendix E-Sports Arena in South Bend

The Bendix E-Sports Arena is ready to open their doors.

Thursday morning, Feb. 4 at 11:45 a.m. a ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for the new 6,000 square foot arena, which features a 36 PC gaming center, Nintendo and Xbox stations, and a 600-seat theater that can host regional and national e-sports events.

South Bend is one of the early homes to the growing popular sport.

It’s believed that the facility will provide a return on the million-dollar investment by the Hotel Motel Tax Board within the first year. Partnerships for the facility have also been established with Bethel University and the South Bend Lions Soccer Club.
