The South Bend Community School Corporation has voted to shut down two elementary schools at the end of the academic year.

The corporation voted 4-3 Monday to close Hay, and voted 5-2 to close Tarkington, according to ABC 57 News.

Current Hay students will be split between Monroe and Wilson Elementary Schools, while Tarkington students will move to Darden Elementary.

School capacity was a main reason for the vote.

We need to vote to shut down the entire South Bend Community School Corporation and send those kids to schools that teach facts and skills instead of woke and feelz.

The smart parents have already fled the SBCSC in droves, hence the extra capacity.

That’s a small step in the right direction. Now, close ALL public schools in the district!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is genius Dr. Todd Cummings, moron! Let’s take at least one excellent school, I can’t speak about Tarkington, Hay, and close it so we can retain the schools with a 5 year record of failure. Congratulations! Maybe you should remove the students from the failing schools and move them into the successful schools. Better yet, let’s follow the advice of David, and close All the SBCSC schools because they are overpriced, top heavy administratively, and do a piss poor job of educating students. South Bend schools were already near the top in the State monetarily per student and the sheep voted to provide them more money. How about we start eliminating money each year until students get smarter? Let’s get rid of the teacher’s union as well while we’re at it, the union doesn’t care about educating students or giving parents and taxpayer’s their money’s worth. Rant off!
