The 6-State Trooper Project begins March 11 and goes through March 13. Indiana State police will be working with law enforcement agencies in Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia to crack down on crime.

“Criminals have to go from point A to point B, which means they’ve got to drive vehicles on the highways,” said Coley McCutcheon, state police sergeant. “That’s a good opportunity for us to increase our patrols and take note of some of those driving behaviors that will put us in contact with people who are doing things they are not supposed to be doing.”

McCutcheon says drug trafficking will be one of their primary areas of focus.

“But we’re also looking at things like distracted driving like DUI’s, be it alcohol or drug-related, and dangerous driving. We want to take people off the roads who hurt people. That’s what we’re focused on in Indiana,” said McCutcheon.

The 6-State Trooper Project is an annual law enforcement initiative.

“By partnering with other states, we effectively create a bigger net for law enforcement to work. We achieve safer roadways through increased traffic enforcement, with an overall commitment to creating safer communities by getting criminals off the streets,” said McCutcheon.

If you see anything criminal on a road or highway, you are asked to call 911 or Indiana State Police.

I do believe that if a teacher is teaching even their own children they should get COVID-19 shots. Also, anyone with sickness over 21 years old. I’m 63 years old, my husband is 65. I had to wait almost 6 weeks, to get mine, but mine shot was only because I’m getting help with my depression. I think our Governor is doing a wonderful job dealing with our problematic world we l deal with for the last year. I support her 100%

65? You’re lucky Herr Whitmer didn’t ship you off to a COVID camp senior care facility and get you dead.

“Wonderful job” indeed. After all, it’s not like she ignored her own lockdown to go party on her boat, or cloned Killer Clown Cuomos nursing home fiasco, or paid off her states former health director for his silence.

Top flight professionalism, all the way!
