Elkhart County Commissioners have said “no” to vaccine passports.
Commissioners passed a resolution, this week, stating that county employees will not be required to show proof of vaccination. They’re also encouraging businesses to do the same.
Commissioners realize a number of concerns in asking that the resolution be drafted. Those include civil liberties, the possibility of personal health information being shared, religious freedom and possible discrimination against protected classes of people, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.
Board President Suzie Weirick says the resolution isn’t meant to discourage people from actually getting vaccinated. It is meant, though, to discourage others from knowing your private medical business.

Ridiculous. so we keep passing the virus around until we all have the debilitating after math of COVID . You have to sbhow your drivers license to vote, to board a plane etc. so your privacy is already compromised. Can these people think outside of the box?
