Clay High School teacher on leave after inviting Right To Life Michiana to speak to class

A Clay High School teacher has been placed on administrative leave after inviting Right to Life Michiana to the school to discuss abortion during a health class.

The teacher didn’t get approval from the principal and failed to notify parents ahead of time, according to administrators, as reported by The South Bend Tribune.

It all came out when Right To Life Michiana posted about the taking part in the class on Facebook.

The South Bend Tribune reports school superintendent Todd Cummings called the visit “unauthorized,” so the teacher is on paid leave while an investigation takes place.

Isn’t it about health? Education?
Our youth have been brainwashed by the liberals to stifle speech that it’s ok to have sex then just kill Gods creation because of your decision . Education is dangerous if it don’t agree with your views.
I think they should show pictures to the kids .

The schools don’t seem to have a problem with handing out information on birth control or literally handing out birth control yet they won’t let someone speak about the other side of the subject? This is what is wrong with our society. We don’t show the consequences of our actions. It is about health. If a parent doesn’t want them to see it then voice that but this is silencing one side.

All that birth control literature is provided by Planned Parenthood. Whatever happened free and fair and debate or discussion on such an important topic as murdering a baby? What ever happened to telling both sides of the story? Clay school is WRONG!!

It is not about health. It is about religious zealots pushing their views onto children.

From the linked article at the Tribune:

“Appleman said the organization, which also visits church groups and Catholic schools, tailored its presentation for a public school visit and did not promote any religious or moral views on abortion. “We just talked about the medical and scientific facts of fetal development and what the abortion procedure actually looks like,” Appleman said.”

The only zealots I see are the government worshiping lefties who want a monopoly on content in the classrooms.

Also what about putting the teacher on paid leave. Then drag out what the school board decides what to do, 3 or 4 months & then bring the teacher back after 4 months of paid leave? Then we the taxpayers with the increased taxes will pay the teacher, and we will forget all about it? Then they can go back to murdering a human person, it will be a baby but is a person according to God. As usual, the liberal arm of the unions & the liberal democrats will win? Who made the decision to suspend the Teacher? Let’s suspend who made that decision? Why was this on Facebook? Who Posted?
