Goshen man crashes car trying to avoid hitting deer

A 38-year-old Goshen man is recovering from injuries after he rolled his car while trying to miss a deer in the road.

It happened late Monday morning, Aug. 9, on County Road 32 near County Road 11.

Sheriff’s deputies say the man lost control of the car, ran off the road, then collided with a tree before the car rolled several times before ending up in a ditch.

The man went to the hospital with cuts to his leg.

Hit the deer or any other small animal straight on. Your car will get damaged . Way too many folks are killed leaving the road to avoid hitting an animal. I have hit as many as 2 deer at the same time. They damaged a light, hood and the roof of my car as they hit the roof. I was able to continue driving in a remote area uninjured. TEACH your children this fact
