Get ready to unleash your inner Toys-R-Us kid.

The brand is looking to make a comeback with new toy shops inside more than 400 Macy’s Department stores.

The two companies made the announcement Thursday and said they hope the team-up will launch next year.

Customers can already shop online at https://www.macys.com/s/toys-r-us/.

The toy outlet filed for bankruptcy in March of 2018 and closed of their locations, including one on Grape Road, within a few months of the filing.

The list of department stores that will have a Toys R Us department has not been released.

This seems really dumb. A little corner of a Macy’s is not going to have the space for a decent selection of toys. TrU got their butts kicked by online retailers because the selection was better, so there is no scenario where opening little embedded toy shops can fix their woes.

They are squandering capital on gimmicky little stores instead of fixing their supply chain and pricing issues and focusing on internet sales. If they cannot beat Amazon at their own game, they aren’t going to have a game at all.
