A truck driver from Iowa has been arrested for the death of a 4-year-old boy in northern Indiana.

Last week, police in Shipshewana responded to a call for a boy who was unresponsive.

WANE-TV in Fort Wayne reported that he was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital, where he died.

The boyfriend of the boy’s mother, Dylan Diericx, said he had the boy in the cab of his semi truck and they were “horse-playing,” but court papers say the boy had fractures to his clavicle, bruises and burns on his face, blunt force trauma to the back of the head, bruising on his privates, and injuries to his anus.

Diericx is now in the LaGrange County Jail, facing charges for neglect of a dependent resulting in death.

He will meet his maker. If he is not found guilty, i believe in street justice.
