Police say an Elkhart woman scared off a home invader at gunpoint.

According to Police, 47-year-old Angel Ubiles broke into a 17th Street home in the middle of the night, last weekend.

The Elkhart Truth reports he got in because the woman saw a hand touch the window on the back porch.

She thought it was her husband trying to come in, so she cracked the door open.

The suspect, 47-year old Angel Ubiles, then pushed the door open, forced his way inside and pinned the woman to the ground.

She was able to wrestle free, grab a gun and threaten to kill him.

Ubiles took off, but a police K9 sniffed him out at a nearby restaurant.

Thank you for fixing it. It says a lot about your character that you are willing to do so.
