(Photo supplied/US Department of Veteran's Affairs)

A disturbing discovery at the VFW in Elkhart as three rifles have been reported missing.

Police were called, this week, to the club on Bristol Street to investigate.

There was no word about when the firearms might have been taken.

Also, there was no immediate word of any possible suspects.

These rifles were reported missing perhaps 30 years ago with a Police report. These were reported to the VFW Properly a few weeks ago All rifles remain property of the US Army and must be inventoried every 3 years Source, one of our local VFW district Officers today so i knw only what I was told
