Free Notre Dame ticket giveaway for people who get vaccinated for COVID-19

In a partnership between the University of Notre Dame and the St. Joseph County
Department of Health, beginning this week, anybody receiving their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine will receive two complimentary tickets to a select Fighting Irish football game.

Individuals can choose to receive two tickets to either the Nov. 6th game vs. Navy (3:30 pm) or the Nov. 20 game vs. Georgia Tech (2:30 pm), while supplied last.

“Notre Dame continues to look for ways to encourage members of our community — including our local fans — to get vaccinated against COVID-19,” said University Vice President and James E. Rohr Director of Athletics Jack Swarbrick. “We hope that the opportunity to secure complimentary tickets to a Notre Dame football game will provide an additional reason for residents of our broader community to become vaccinated.”

“It is imperative that every County resident be vaccinated,” County Commissioner Andy Kostielney stated. “I am grateful to the St. Joseph County Health Department and Notre Dame for partnering in this fashion for the well-being of our community.”

HOW TO RECEIVE COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS

To participate, individuals must receive their vaccine at the St. Joseph County Department of Health supported clinic in the main lobby of the County-City Building (227 W. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46601). Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3:20 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:30-11:20 a.m. Walk-ins are welcome. Individuals can also schedule a time at www.ourshot.in.gov.

Totally worth it. Will Notre Dame be accepting liability if someone gets severe side effects from the vaccine? I mean there have only been 500,000+ reported to VAERS.

Does anyone know if you can get a ticket for a game during a year when ND is actually good? Or does it have to be this season?
