Woman convicted of hitting and killing three kids at a bus stop may get early release

Upon hearing the news of a possible early release from prison for Alyssa Shepherd, Fulton County prosecutors Michael Marrs has filed a motion to try and prevent that from happening.

Shepherd is the woman convicted of hitting and killing three kids at a bus stop near Rochester in 2018.

A year later she was found guilty and given four years in prison. However, she’s completed some faith-based course while in prison and has received six months shaved off her sentence. She could get more time off for qualifying for a probation program.

In filling the motion to block an early release, Marrs says releasing her early “is not justice.”

She done the crime now she is doing the time. Let her go back into the real world. It may be that Fulton County prosecutors Michael Marrs is up for reelection so he he is playing the system over there in Rochester of the unforgiving people of Rochester? May our God send revival to Rochester, IN soon?

This is insane 4yrs??? Really for 3 lifes?no justice for those little ones..I get that inmates have the chance of “shaving”time off their sentences an I understand that inmates really done have nothing more to do with their time in there but books an all buy come on 4yrs to start with then “shave”time..really wat has she learned?she should have to sit in their n see pics of the little lives she took..they will never finish school they will never have the job opportunity she had nor will they ever b able to marry or bare children…How is this fair to those little ones giving her less time a slap on the wrist pretty much saying these little lives was worth nothing..I call BULLSHIT let her serve her little bit of time..I don’t see nothing bad happening to this world now..”O u ran over 4 kids an killed 3 her no no don’t do it again hers 4 yrs”

You know Stanley you’re the worst type of religious hypocrite you can be sure if it was your kids but one of your family members or God forbid one of the members of your Parish you wouldn’t be advocating for her to get early release. God help us from people like you that believe four years was a fair punishment for her. I’m sure That Michael Marrs just has nothing but disdain for her as a person she’s nothing more than human filth her cell phone was more important than those children’s lives I don’t think it has anything to do with re-election it’s not about being forgiven it’s about what’s right and wrong maybe they don’t teach that in church anymore Stanley

You used to hear it’ll take a kid to die for them to slow down in this neighborhood well children dying hasn’t changed anything. Just like in Elkhart on Greenleaf everybody seems to forgotten about the young man that got killed walking down the street with his friend. Well I got news for you Stanley only giving out four years in prison is why nothing changes.
