South Bend man sentenced after pleading guilty to meth distribution

A South Bend man was sentenced in U.S. District Court after pleading guilty to distribution of more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.

Rashawn Fowler, 34, was sentenced to 121 months in prison followed by 4 years of supervised release.

According to court documents, during the summer of 2020, Fowler sold more than half a pound of methamphetamine during a series of controlled buys.

In August of 2020, investigators arrested Fowler and recovered more than half a pound of methamphetamine, heroin, assorted pills, digital scales, a revolver, and a loaded 9-millimeter pistol.
