The National Police Association has filed a lawsuit on behalf of a couple who hung a flag displaying “Thin Blue Line”, which shows support for law enforcement.

James Bopp Jr. of The Bopp Law Firm of Terre Haute, Indiana, represents the couple.

He says they were assessed fines and threatened with litigation if they refused to remove the flag.

Bopp says covenants from homeowners associations “that prohibit the display of the Thin Blue Line flag are in violation of the First Amendment and the threats by the HOA to enforce their prohibition in court are without merit.”

Barbecue that HOA! That’s the problem with them. So many times the people in charge have always been nobody’s! Give them a wee bit of power and it soars to their heads! I wonder if the resident would have been threatened if they had displayed a BLM flag??!!
