Pence happy to see Senate reject bill to make abortions legal nationwide

Former Vice President and Indiana Governor Mike Pence is happy to see the Senate reject a bill that would have made abortions legal nationwide. Now he is hoping the Supreme Court will take it one step further.

“It is my hope and literally my prayer that the draft opinion that was leaked a week ago before the Supreme Court becomes the majority opinion, so we’re able to overturn Roe v. Wade and return the question of abortion to the states,” said Pence in an interview on The Story with Martha MacCallum on Fox News.

Pro-choice activists have been protesting outside the homes of Supreme Court justices. Pence is not a fan of that.

“It is an attempt to intimidate the court and it is against federal law. I think to have elected officials or any Americans hesitating to denounce that is irresponsible,” said Pence.

Pence says the rhetoric from Democrats on abortion has become more dangerous because they are trying to force their agenda on the American people.

“Bill Clinton said he wanted an America was abortion was safe, legal, and rare. Now those days are gone. What the American people are witnessing now is the extremism of a pro-abortion movement in the country,” said Pence.

He said Democrats claim overturning Roe v. Wade is an infringement on women’s rights, but really it’s about putting the power to make the choice back in the people’s hands.

Pence, in the end you need to remember one thing…

This is all your fault! You abandoned your duty to reject electors without calling for an investigation, even when directly asked to do so by one of the states you needed to reject!
