A GOP candidate in the Michigan Gubernatorial race has entered a not guilty plea to charges based on his participation in the January 6 riot.
Candidate Ryan Kelley entered the pleas to four misdemeanor charges on Thursday. He appeared via video as his attorney announced the pleas on his behalf.
The criminal complaint says Kelley is charged with entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, disorderly and disruptive conduct, knowingly engaging in an act of physical violence against a person or property, and willfully injuring property. Each count carries a penalty of up to a year in prison and fines of up to $100,000 per charge.
Authorities do not accuse Kelley of entering the building.
Kelley has a status conference scheduled for September 22nd.

Just like all the other Democrat J6 idiocy, this is nothing but a witch hunt. What a farce.
Wake me up when we have equal application of the law again.
Good luck with that…
