South Bend is one of the most affordable places to live in America.

That’s according to a list from Niche.com, which ranks South Bend at #4 on their list for 2022. Fort Wayne topped that same list.

Niche gave South Bend an overall B+ with an A- for cost of living, and a B- for the public schools. A third Indiana city, Evansville, was in the Top Ten at #7.

This is the fifth year Niche has put out the list, which contains several different categories.

Are you kidding about the rating on South Bend Government schools ! The South Bend Community School Corporation rates one of the lowest in the state of Indiana.

As far as an inexpensive place to live in South Bend, make sure it’s a 5 digit address and out of the city limits. A lot of neighborhood in the city are dangerous. The crime reports don’t lie.

Listen to the police scanners in South Bend after dark especially on the weekends.

South Bend has become a shit hole. You couldn’t pay me enough to live there. No wonder it’s so cheap. Just another blue city run by a bunch of libtards who are destroying it. Cops shot a black man yesterday and now they are calling blm to come and burn the city! Really? Regulations upon regulations! And I also heard that city is 400 million dollars in debt. There is NO substantial work or jobs there. Wonder why? “Mayor” Pete has screwed up all the streets and the cops are like gastapo soldiers! A- to B+? I’d give that city an F-!
