Delta cancels service from South Bend to Detroit

(95.3 MNC)
Delta Airlines will not be offering flights to Detroit out of the South Bend International Airport, starting next month.
The South Bend Tribune reports that this change will be implemented November 9th.
The reason given for this change is a staff shortage, which includes pilots and flight attendants.
However, Mike Daigle – CEO and executive director of the South Bend International Airport – says he believes this change is not permanent.
He thinks flights will start up again as staff shortages are resolved.
He cautions that, if you are planning to fly after November 9th, you may need to book your seats sooner than normal in order to ensure that you get a spot.

Absolutely, life is too short to fly through Chicago.
