The Penn Harris Madison school board has approved another 7% pay increase.

This time, it’s for the district’s hourly and salary employees, including custodians, exceptional education professionals, food service, kids club, service technicians and maintenance, food distributors, and administrators.

In addition, workers who are eligible for the district’s insurance program will see a five percent increase to their contribution levels, as well as a new vision plan.

Last month, the Board voted to approve an overall 7% increase to teacher base salaries.
